Brewery Apprentice

Do you want to learn more about brewing and the craft beer industry?

Boxcar is currently looking for potential candidates for our apprenticeship program. We are recruiting individuals to work at our Brewery and this would be a great opportunity for someone looking to build their resume, learn about brewing and gain a better insight into the hugely popular world of craft beer.

While this is an unpaid apprenticeship, it could lead to future employment with our brewery or others, and we hope that candidates regard this position as an excellent path to getting your foot in the door of this growing industry.

The Brewery is open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, and the selected candidates will carry out various tasks to facilitate the daily production requirements of Boxcar Brewing Company. Main functions include, but are not limited to, cleaning, weighing of hops and malt, beer transfers, tank cip, dry hopping, filtering, parts and hose maintenance, keg cleaning and additional cellar and brewhouse duties as necessary.

Boxcar Brewing Company, located at 306 Westtown Road, Suite C, West Chester, PA, is an organization committed to providing fine craft beer to be enjoyed with family and friends while bringing the community of West Chester together with unique and exciting events. We have now extended our reach with the opening of our brewpub at 142 E. Market Street.
